Another successful team building event for McKinsey! The IGNITE team facilitated another successful event for the McKinsey team. This was our second time working with them, and we love working with such a fun group of people. The event was held at the Dubai Sports World in Dubai World Trade Centre. We started off with a kid’s station where we had inflatables, arts and crafts, and face painting for the kids. The next part is the rally where we facilitated team building activities that involved everyone getting into groups and doing some role play activities. Then we moved on to the exciting part of the event: the awarding ceremony. The event went really well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves! Having a successful team-building event is key to making sure that your employees really feel like they’re part of a team and not just a bunch of individuals who happen to be working on the same project. We were thrilled to organize this team building event for Johnson & Johnson where their employees partake in different fun and challenging activities. The teams participating in fun activities together help everyone get to know each other better, which built trust and increases productivity. It also promotes bonding between their colleagues with different skill sets, which can make it easier for them to work together effectively in the future.

IGNITE water sports organized this free event for different levels of skill and headstand experience, so there’s something for anyone who wants to come out and play. Our last jam session was fun-filled where the community enjoyed creating beats with drums and practicing their headstand on SUP. It was interesting to see some of our friends working on holding their headstands longer, some were working on their alignment, and some were just learning how to get into a headstand at all. What’s good about this is if you’re new to the sport, you can come to learn the basics from people with more experience—and then just have fun trying it out in a supportive environment. Another successful event. We did it again! IGNITE just facilitated Walkers annual Beach Olympiad, a team-building event designed to foster employee engagement and inspire teamwork through friendly outdoor competition. It was a great success where teams from different law firms competed in a variety of outdoor activities to win the trophy. Thank you to all the employees who participated, and congratulations to the team that took home this year’s victory!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Kids Camp last week! We’re happy to confirm that it was a great success, and we’re looking forward to hosting many more just like it in the future. It was all a blast. One of our favorite parts was the fun games on our IGNITE mats. The kids had so much fun splashing and diving in the water. We also enjoyed the water sports—kayaking and paddle boarding—and just generally being outside in nature with the kids. It was amazing to see how much the kids’ confidence grew over our short time together. If you haven’t had a chance to join us yet, we’d love to see you at the next one. We offer fun water sports activities for kids from ages 6 plus and believe the best way to get your little one excited about learning is by making it fun.

It has been proven that regular exercise and a healthy diet can lead to increased productivity and decreased rates of employee absenteeism, both of which help companies save money. To encourage healthy lifestyles among their employees, IGNITE facilitated an event for W Hotel employees. Guillaume Mariole, CEO & Co-founder of IGNITE shared a wellness talk where he discussed the importance of a healthy lifestyle and practicing self-care. The team also enjoyed some team building activities where they learned the importance of teamwork and communication, while also having fun. This team building and wellness talk gave the employees the opportunity to bond with their co-workers and help tips for them to improve their health. Health and wellness are an important topic for many companies—and it’s not just about staying physically healthy. It’s also about making sure your employees are mentally, emotionally, and spiritually happy with their jobs.

On the first week of February, Caterpillar took its EAFR team to RIVA Beach where IGNITE facilitated an exciting day of team building activities for them. The point of the day was for the employees to have fun, bond as a team, and learn to work together in a safe environment. It’s no secret that teamwork is an integral part of success for any business. When two or more people work together on a project, the results are almost always better than if they were working alone. That’s why we organize team building activities which help the team members learn to communicate and work together toward a common goal while also having fun. The event was successful, with the employees commenting that it was a great experience and that they want to do it again.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and it would not be Christmas without Santa. So, to make everyone’s days merry and bright, IGNITE water sports organized a free meet and greet event with Santa and his friends. The day was festive for the young and young at heart as friends and family came to join the fun.  Weather they are on the naughty or nice list, we made sure that it is always a happy time at IGNITE.

On November 29, IGNITE facilitated a team building event for A-Map, one of the leading auto parts exporters in Dubai. It was a three-hour outdoor event held at the Etisalat Academy. A total of 60 employees participated in various activities and challenges which encourage them to think come up with creative ways to win. The event ended with an awarding ceremony where we announced the top three teams who got the most number of points.

Waslympics is back this year as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, and the IGNITE team were pumped up and excited to facilitate this annual fitness event. It was a Saturday filled with fun and challenging activities for the whole team and everyone’s spirit was high and competitive eager to get the number one spot. The three-hour event ended with an awarding ceremony where the team celebrated everyone’s hard work and perseverance. It was indeed another successful event for Wasl and we cannot wait to hold the next one.
